is founded by a group of Indonesian food lovers & entrepreneurs who are continuously looking to improve on the food varieties & quality and also to further expand business through franchising methodology.

THE LEGEND



Ayam Penyet Ria, started its humble beginning since 1998, by Ibu Ruth, from Batam. To supplement the family income, Ibu Ruth started a fried chicken stall in Batam but the business then was slow. Being inspired by a dream one day, she had the fried chicken smashed (“penyet”) and served with crispies (“kremes”) and special sambal which has created instant demand from customers even from far. Hence, the birth of today’s famous “Ayam Penyet Ria”.

Since then, there is no turning back, Ayam Penyet Ria restaurant outlets has grown leaps and bounds across the archipelago of Indonesia, Singapore and now in Malaysia.

The outlets in Indonesia spanned across Surabaya, Jakarta, Medan, Solo, Bandung, Malang, Pekan Baru, Palembang, Tg Pinang, Batam, Balik Papan, Manado, Irian (Papua), Balik Papan, Samarinda, Jambi and more……

There are several outlets opened in Singapore, to name a few; Lucky Plaza, Tampines and  Marinara.

In Malaysia, the first outlet was set up by the founder, Ibu Ruth at Sunway Mentari in 2007. Its popularity has attracted the opening of second and third outlet in Sunway Pyramid and Wangsa Maju in 2009 respectively and subsequently Summit Shopping Mall. It does not stop there, due to the popularity and customer demands, more outlets have been opened since.

To date, Ayam Penyet Ria brand is still growing strong and has approximately 102 outlets spanning from Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia.

OUR STRENGTH



Ayam Penyet Ria brand has more than 20 years presence in Indonesia and has make its presence in Malaysia for more than 6 years!

Its popularity has attracted many new comers competing to capture the new market. But our strength lies with our valuable team comprising a pool of well trained Chefs from Indonesia with at least 8 years of experience.

The foods are cooked in the manner that is truly Indonesian taste using ingredients mainly from Indonesia. Foods are cooked in Central kitchen located in Wangsa Maju before transported to outlet for further cooking.

Ayam Penyet Ria only uses farm chicken (ayam kampong) for the Ayam Penyet menu, which nowhere can found in other Ayam Penyet brand.

These farm chickens, meats and other ingredients are delivered daily fresh to the central kitchen for preparation and cooking. These foods are then transported daily to various outlets for further cooking to ensure fresh and quality foods are served to our customers.

Our restaurant is equipped with Halal certificate (Islamic Food Research centre Malaysia & Asia Region) that caters for all races of Malaysian and is currently converting to Jakim Halal certificate under the new requirements.

Our trained workforce including the floor staff is mobile and is ever ready to be transferred / reshuffled among outlets when need arises.
